Hi, I am Arelys
Licensed Psychologist in Puerto Rico.
I am a human, a woman, therapy receiver, therapy provider, Puertorican, and a lot of other adjectives, some positive, some negative and others just descriptive.
I have curly hair, which I sometimes straighten. I journal occasionally which is why I possess more than seven, empty yet beautiful notebooks. I am an unwitting pen/marker/pencil/paint/color collector.
I sometimes replay conversations in my head, and overthink my responses. I strive to be intuitive while acting pragmatically.
I completed a master’s degree in counseling psychology and I am a therapist who incorporates context and history through my practice.
I am also a certified yoga instructor which allows me to incorporate body movement in our therapeutic sessions.
In finding myself I created Finding Misma, so that I could guide you in your process of finding yourself (or Misma).
I will help you establish trust in yourself and create stable boundaries that would allow you to discover and enjoy all aspects of yourself.
